"I think as a middle aged adult we need to be more conscious of our bodies. We need to manage our weight and really think about what we are eating. We need to take a better look at what is going into our bodies. When we get to middle age, sometimes it is harder to get the weight off, to work with a slower metabolic rate and be better at planning what we are eating. If we get conditioned to do this – even at a younger age it will make a difference in the later years. But to me it is a health issue – not just about shedding a few pounds. I know to live a healthier life I need to be in better shape physically and to eat better – to make better food choices. And that is what it is all about making better choices for our own life. We are the only ones in charge of our life and we need to make the best choices out there. Not sure on inches but 9-10 pounds.
